About the Conference
According to recent statistics, 1500 pastors leave the ministry each month due to moral failure, spiritual burnout or strife in their churches. In America, more than 3,500 churches close their doors each year, and half of all churches last year did not add one new member through conversion growth. These statistics are sobering, and yet, we believe that the greatest days for the church in America – and globally – are still ahead!
In response, the theme of The Church Conference 2013 is Built To Last. This year, our annual conference will feature incredible guest speakers who have extensive experience building church teams, and have enjoyed both success and longevity in ministry. This Spirit Contemporary conference will have both in-depth teaching and a variety of ministry apps, as well as night sessions with refreshing times of worship and ministry. The Church Conference is designed to minister to your whole leadership team!
During this year’s conference, we will answer and define the question most pastors and leaders are asking: ”What are the attributes and qualities of Pastors, Leaders and Churches that make a ministry Built to Last?”
Day sessions will focus on the time-tested, biblical principles of successful leaders and churches. Night sessions will be focused on renewing our spirits through worship, ministry and God’s word. We are not after hype or the latest ministry trends–but rather building leaders and churches that can overcome every setback, obstacle and hardship that may come! And we want to help you connect with other pastors and leaders because we know relationships are an important key to success!
We are living in times of unprecedented opportunities, accompanied by equally unprecedented challenges! We need wisdom and strategies to navigate the modern complexities of planting and growing churches. But more than that, we need renewal from the Holy Spirit and fresh encounters with Jesus so we do not grow weary and lose heart.
